Essential information such as “entrance,” “crosswalk,” “elevator,” and “crossroads” are provided by voice through a smart cane or smart shoe that recognizes smart braille blocks coated with more than 10 types of special substances.
Just by applying smart paint, a safe route can be displayed by connecting disconnected dot-shaped blocks, and does not cause additional inconvenience to citizens other than the visually impaired.
The irregularities of the Braille blocks cause inconvenience to the passage of (electric) wheelchairs, carts, and strollers, and this is acting as a major obstacle to the introduction and expansion of Braille blocks. This problem can be solved by introducing flat blocks.
